Bromine tablets of white color, with scent to bromine. In the water it reacts of the following form:
Bromine-chlorine-dimetilhidantoina + water = acid hipobromoso chloride.
Colloidal silver
Denomination: colloidal silver. in suspension with water oxygenated between 200 and 840 mg/l. It is a great germicida, which together with the oxygenated water, destroys the organic matter. The active dose is gotten up in the water by means of dispensers calculates of the order of 0.05 ppm of concentration, expressed in silver. The contact with the skin must be avoided. Once diluted it does not present/display problems.
Ozone
It is a gas very active disinfectant, that acts by oxidation. He is very unstable to room temperature and has a penetrating and characteristic scent; in low doses he is inoffensive, but mg/m3 is dangerous to breathe it from 0.2. Form of application: one takes place "in situ" with a generator ELT. Minimum dose: 0,4 mg of ozone by liter of water and a minimum contact of 4 minutes. So that the water of the glass must be able residual disinfectant, a complementary disinfection with another authorized disinfectant is necessary. The water that arrives at the glass cannot contain ozone; after the treatment it has to follow a desozonización obligatorily, by means of a filtration with activated charcoal or by degassing with a specific device.
Product for the seaweed
A greenish coloration exposes the presence of seaweed to cause, often, of an insufficient disinfection. The seaweed can be in suspension or be adhered to rough surfaces of the glass, and they are fed on the solar light and nitrogenadas substances. They are sensible to the temperature and they give less problems in winter.
A correct disinfection is sufficient to prevent the development, whenever there are not "zones died" in the glass or excess of vegetation in next zone. In these cases the use of a product for the seaweed will be advisable.
In front of a sudden growth of seaweed, the glass will be due to close the swimming pool and to make a treatment of shock or to drain. Before reapertura pH will be controlled and the disinfectant concentration.
